The race is on.................

and I'm feeling it this week! Whew what a super busy week so far. Sunday and Monday we had such nasty weather, just downright yucky! Stormy and rain most of the days, making feeding the dogs pretty ugly. I think I had more mud on me than any pig ever would have! LOL From head to toe I was covered! No matter how much we try to keep their pens with mulch or shavings, it all just disappears overnight it seems, and the mud is back.

I have been getting everyone ready for their upcoming flights here. Getting last minute supplies gathered and vet checks scheduled. Speaking of the vet, I have three pups to take here shortly. I will definitely have to round up some help there. Don't think me and Cole can handle three wild little stinkers in the vet! LOL This ought to be fun.

Little Miss Happy, who is now Zip, got picked up yesterday for her new home. We have Rebel, who will soon be called Ace, being picked up tomorrow. Miss Lovey flies out super bright and early tomorrow morning. Let's just say I'll probably need a nap before the day is over.............I'll be seeing the airport by 6am! Then Rocky and Cuddles will be flying out Monday morning. Cutie will be scheduled for later next week. All my babies are leaving so soon........feels like they were just born. But knowing they will be bringing their new families so much fun and joy, helps me to pass them on. This last week, I think, is the hardest and most busiest week of having pups, with any litter. I'll be mailing out everyone's puppy packet and papers either today or tomorrow.

We've just had a busy week too on the homefront. Mowing season has started for Chris and he's gained a few more yards since last year's season. I've had a couple of photo sessions this week as well. In between 2 orthodontist appointments for Clayton and Laura, and all the errands I have to run, plus getting ready for Easter as we are hosting it this year. Cole's birthday also falls on Easter, so we're just having one big party. I've got to find time somewhere to hit the grocery store to get what I need to cook for Sunday! And Cole is so looking forward to Monday........he gets to have his first meeting/practice for T-ball!! He'll be an Oriole and couldn't be happier...........mainly because it's a "bird"! LOL He's getting a bat and glove for his birthday, so he'll be totally set. This is going to be so much fun!

I'll try to squeeze in a few new pics later this evening. I hope everyone has a great day! I'm off to enjoy a SUNNY and 80 degree day!!!!! Love it!
Amy
