Looking forward to a better week

Things are looking up here and definitely off to a good start..........Daddy got to come home from the hospital yesterday!! :) SOOOOOO glad to have him back home. He's doing really great, coughing quite a bit, but getting around good and he couldn't wait to sleep in his own bed. He's still got quite a bit of fluid on him from all the IV's he had, but all in all, he's on the mend. 

It's a beautiful morning and we, for once this year, have no rain in the forecast! LOL Definitely looking forward to the warm days and just getting back into somewhat of a regular schedule here. And REALLY need to get my house back in order here. After last week, it looks as if a large tornado has come right through the middle of it! T-ball has started and Cole is totally enjoying that. It's his first year playing. Have a ton of photos to process from a few sessions about 10 days ago. Can't wait to get them finished here. Kids are looking forward to their spring break next week. Nothing big planned, just hanging around, but I'm sure we'll get into something. We may just have a garage sale.......they love helping me out with those. :) And I've got a ton of stuff I could move on. Niko the bird is doing great! He's learned the wolf whistle and lots of times puts his own "spin" on it! LOL  We keep thinking we hear him say a couple words ever now and again, but not sure yet. But I swear I heard him say "whatcha doin" earlier!! He's the sweetest little thing and we all are totally enjoying him. Guess I'll go jump start my day here with a plate of pancakes and some ice cold chocolate milk.............all that sugar will surely get me going!! LOL  I need something to wake me up!
